A Message from the CSCC and the MSA

We repeat below correspondence received by the CSCC from the MSA, and passed to the club, about non-continuous steering wheels. We have been asked to make this information commonly known. Anybody using such a wheel or considering its use would be well advised to reconsider.

Dear Richard and Hugo,

It has been brought to my attention that at the last Cadwell meeting, there was discussion as to whether non-continuous steering wheels that have been modified were acceptable. See photos attached.[We publish them below]

The response from the MSA is such that such steering wheels, will not pass scrutineering at the Snetterton meeting on the 18th 19th Oct.

Therefore can you please ensure that the teams are aware so there is no disappointment on the day.
