Brands Hatch Grand Prix Circuit Familiarisation

MSVR Trackday Organiser Nick Rice has been in touch with news for anybody thinking of entering the Brands Hatch Grand Prix Circuit meeting on 20-21 August. This must surely be everybody with such a rare chance to race on a classic circuit. You can get some practice/familiarisation in on their trackday event on the Grand Prix circuit on Monday 11th July to learn the circuit and take 1-2-1 tuition if necessary. 1-2-1 is their expression but I think they mean one to one. Or even "personal". Never mind.

This event is for closed wheel vehicles only, but we've all got road cars and the track looks pretty similar from those. You could even try to borrow your mechanic's Lotus Elise or your racecar builder's Porsche GT3. Anyway, it offers a great opportunity for drivers that might not have driven here previously or who would like to refresh themselves before the race weekend. There will be 7 x 20 minute sessions available on the day.

Booking Information is on http://www.clubmsv.com/car-home/event-details.aspx?productid=906, where you will see it costs £350, which really isn't bad for over 2 hours track time.

Please feel free to contact Nick if you would like some further information. Despite the facetious comments above, everyday road cars are accepted on this event. Nick has details of track car hire companies if you do not have something suitable to use, and he can organise a group booking discount if 10 or more drivers want to attend.
