The 2010 Calendar

MRC is very pleased that the relationship with MSVR has enabled us to include several of the most prestigious race venues in the UK in our 2010 calendar, which will help make the 2010 Mono Championship one of the most exciting in recent years. MRC has also maintained the policy of seeking to offer best value-for-money seater racing in the UK, and despite across-the-board increases in per-minute circuit hire costs, and the return of VAT to 17.5%, we have kept entry fees as low as possible at £205 for single headers, and £295 for double headers. As before competitors will be able to enter one round in a double header, at an entry fee of £180. The Club has also secured a non-championship race on the Silverstone Grand Prix circuit, and this event has been nominated as the Ray Dackombe Memorial Trophy Race, appropriately at Ray’s favourite venue. MRC hopes to add additional non-championship events to the 2010 calendar, as was done this year.

  • Monoposto Racing Club is responsible for controlling all the sporting, technical, financial and calendar matters of the 2010 Mono Championship, including entry arrangements for races.
  • Individual races are run by MSVR, CSCC, DDMC, and BRSCC/BritCar under MSA Regulations on behalf of MRC. Races may be subject to cancellation, abandonment, postponement or change in accordance with MSA Regulations and the Supplementary Regulations issued for the event.
