Ayrton Senna would have been 50 today

We have been reminded that today, 21 March 2010, would have been the 50th birthday of Ayrton Senna.

Senna remains one of the most admired and respected drivers of all time and drove cars of the type - and sometimes the actual cars - we use, or used, in Mono.

As a mark of respect, and sincere admiration, here are some photographs of Senna's early, pre-McLaren days.
