| Mallory Park Quick Report - 16 May 2010 A fun day out for the Mono TV All-Stars 17 Mono racers from all classes braved reality TV at Mallory Park for the Motors Live TV Race Meeting. Despite electric power being very limited for the duration of the meeting, BARC ran things superbly to timetable in dry, sunny weather. Race one was won by Chris Woodhouse, still in the Speads, at a record pace followed by Jeremy Timms (Dallara) also setting a new record (though whether these count at a non-championship meeting is beyond your reporter). Chris Vinall completed the podium, a welcome returnee in his, as usual, rapid and immaculate JKS. Race 2 had the same winners, but just a shade faster. The TV cameras concentrated on a fantastic dice between returning Mono racer Tim Cameron (Jedi) and newcomer to Mono (though 750 veteran) Oliver Sirrell (RF97), which ended only on the last lap, in Tim's favour. How? Well, you'll have to wait till the full story appears on your favourite website. And if your favourite website doesn't tell you, we'll have it on Startline later this week. TC
