Marshals make mince meat of Monoposti

Anglesey was the chosen destination for the first Monoposto quiz of this season, a perfect location due to the lack of 3G signal. With twenty entries the event was every well supported, with Monoposto filling the majority of the bar. The Monoposto entries were also supplemented by two teams of marshals.

For those who didn’t attend, the quiz consisted of racing and general knowledge like most Monoposto quizzes. However this quiz incorporated questions of an anti cheating nature, these included a word search, word scrabbles, dingbats and a picture round.

After much deliberation the results were as follows. After a recount the Smithlingtons (Mark, Andrew, Robert and Becky) narrowly beat Red River Racing (Peter, Dave, Matty and Aaron) into third place. The reigning champions Team Strap were amazingly knocked off the top spot despite gaining extra recruits into their team (The Sergisons were joined by David, Michael and the Turners). So who was it that ended Team Strap's winning streak? The Fast Marshals achieved a staggering score of 106 the only team to make it over the hundred mark to take the win. The top three teams all received a bottle of wine as their prize, with the winners getting first choice.
